A quartet of international cooks is stranded in Italy while their steamer is being repaired. The four are joined by two couples in their journey. Together they are headed for Africa, presumably to sell vacuum cleaners, but actually to buy land supposedly loaded with uranium. Their aim is to earn a fortune with the uranium. After a series of exciting adventures it is not Africa that awaits them. Instead, the arms of Scotland Yard Inspectors are welcoming the Adventurers.
