The Hole (1998, 95 min.) - A grocer is given a window into the life of his neighbor below due to the unfinished work of a plumber. Life on Earth (1998, 61 min.) - A fictional documentary of the slow daily life in an isolated African village as the director returns to Mali to visit his father. Midnight (1998, 72 min.) - In the last hour of 1999, fate introduces a fugitive prisoner and a depressed middle class teacher, bringing a new-found hope. The Sanguinaires (1998, 68 min.) - The story of a Parisian travel agent who faces his inability to escape the trappings of humanity by taking a vacation. Tama and Juli (1997, 60 min.) - The story of a problematic relationship between a kindergarten teacher and a coal miner that leads to the fateful events of New Years Eve. The Wall (1998, 67 min.) - A restaurant owner is left to deal with a wall that has been constructed in the middle of his store to divide different language speaking communities.
