Cheech and Chong make their film debut in this riotous rockn roll comedy, bringing with them the same madness, lifestyles and sketches that sold over 10 million records in the early 70s. Man Stoner (Tommy Chong) is thrown out of his rich parents Hollywood Hills home and hooks up with Pedro De Pacas (Cheech Marin) the leader of a rock and roll band. After They meet on a highway, they go out to looking for some pot and accidentally end up being deported to Mexico. They need to get back to the states for a battle-of-the-bands gig and so unwittingly offer to drive a van made almost entirely of marijuana back to Los Angeles.
