Most of these rare cartoons have not been seen in almost 50 years. Most of them were made by the famed Wanrer Bros. studio and voiced by Mel Blanc. Two are early shorts from United Productions of America, known to fans of classic animation as UPA. And one is a riarity from pioneers Hugh Harman and Rudolf Ising. Created strictly for the Armed Forces, at the time they were very risque. Theres an occasional hell or damn, even some partial female nudity. They might offend people of German or japanese descent, but they were no worse than other propaganda films of their day.Theyre funny and entertaining, and when they were ommitted from the newsreels the troops saw, the boys complained, Wheres the SNAFU cartoon?!Bosko Video is pleased to present every SNAFU cartoon ever released, and even one that wasnt.
