This is a Remake of an early 80s Shaw Bros. film called "Killer Clan". It is based on a popular sword fighting novel by Gu Long. Sister Ko (Michelle Yeoh) and Brother Sing (Tony Leung) have been ordered to infiltrate and destroy insurgent groups of martial artists. Outside of the romantic subplot, there are also ultra-violent action sequences involving bodies being torn apart by flying fu and lightning swordplay.
