In his last attempt to go out in glory, an over-the-hill movie producer makes one last pitch to get a script sold to a major studio. However, he has a couple of things in his way...a slimy studio exec that wants to steal the script from under his nose, a scheming son-in-law who has gambled away the family business, a young temptress who he can't trust, a con-man with an itchy trigger finger, and a shady loan shark that wants it all...plus 50% interest. As he solicits the help of his buddies from the "golden era" of film (most of who he finds retired, or dead), he discovers that leaving a "legacy" behind isn't always what defines a man's worth.
