Inspector Sung-woo is already on his last threads of decency when his partner gets killed during a routine stakeout. To make matters worse, he gets reprimanded for walking out on his undercover post, which led to his partner's death. Meanwhile, Su-hyun, a young man striving to absolve himself from his connections to a criminal syndicate, gets the last cal he wants when his best friend asks him to do one last job.
The job is loosely tied to the cop's murder, and unfortunately, Su-hyun becomes the scapegoat after getting caugh. Framed for a cop killing he didn't commit, Su-hyun knows his days are numbered, and makes a great escape from the hospital right under the nose of massive security. In the process, he kidnaps the hapless Sun-woo for protection. But as luck would have it, Sun-hyu is already suicidal, leading to the most outlandish and incredible test of wills and survival in the heat of the high octane chase. A marveously paced, smart action-thriller, where characters build character as the trust builds between them.
