During the war of 1971, the Battle of Longewale took place between India and Pakistan. The war started in December of 1971, when a Pakistani infantry brigade crossed the border sixteen kilometers from Longewala. Many young men, including Dharam and Raja, come together to fight a war with their battalion leader, Kuldeep Singh. As they wait for the war to develop, they tell stories of their families and friends. But when shots begin to ring out, it is up to gritty survival and instinct to see who dies and lives, and who ultimately will win and lose.
