The Series:
Featuring characters from the original miniseries, LONESOME DOVE: THE SERIES revolves around the life and times of Newt Call, the young cowhand who started out as a boy in Lonesome Dove and now goes on to make his way in the world.

The year is 1880, Newt Call has returned to Curtis Wells from living on the trail the past two years as a bounty hunter. Call went on a downward spiral after his beloved wife was killed in an explosion, and coming back to town has reopened some old wounds - not the least of which is his unresolved business with Clay Mosby, the man who coveted Call's wife before the exposion took her. Behind Mosby's charming facade, he's a ruthless businessman - severe with those who cross him and ready to spahe the town of Curtis Wells into his own dark vision.
