Oldboy: An average man is kidnapped and imprisoned in a hotel room for 15 years without explanation. He then is released, equipped with money, a cell phone and expensive clothes. As he strives to explain his imprisonment and get his revenge, he soon finds out that not only does his kidnapper still have plans for him, but that those plans will serve as the even worse finale to 15 years of imprisonment.
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance: A story of a deaf - mute, Ryu, and his attempts to provide his critically ill sister with a kidney transplant. He loses his job and is forced to break the law by kidnapping a rich mans child, reasoning that kidnapping doesn't have to end badly… as long as he is paid a very reasonable ransom… So begins a torturous ride into the uncompromising reality of black market organ dealers, secretive terrorist organizations and merciless reprisal.
Lady Vengeance: Imprisoned for thirteen years for allegedly kidnapping and murdering a six-year-old boy, Lee Geum-ja wastes no time in winning over her cellmates' sympathies. From the former prostitute who strangled her pimp to the old North Korean spy who hands her the "Sutra of revenge" -- illustrated instructions.
