A stampede of animals fleeing from the Tasmanian Devil runs past Bug's hole. While Bigs looks up the beast in his encyclopedia, it enters his home and makes ready to devour out hero. Bugs stalls by offering to help find a menagerie of creatures to consume. First, they dig for groundhogs. Bugs gets him covered with dirt. It does no good as he instantly reappears and growls "Why do you bury me in the cold, cold ground?" Bugs constructs a chicken for the Devil out of bubble gum and bicarbonate of soda (so he hiccups a huge bubble), then a little pig out of a little raft (which iinfates within the devil). Bugs phones in a personal ad to the Tasmanian Post Dispatch: "Lonely Devil would like to meet lonely lady Devil. Object: Matrimony." A plane instantly lands carrying a she-devil in a bridal weil. And Rabbi Bugs marries them with a ceremony of Devil snarl gibberish. "All the world loves a lover," says Bugs after the newleds fly off. "But in this case we'll make an exception."
