On the advice of an old woman, Yosuke travels to a faraway village on the Noto Peninsula. Yosuke has just been left by his wife, is currently unemployed, and looking for a way to turn his life around. He is told that there is a golden Buddha in a vase in the village, but all he finds is a strange woman named Saeko. The two begin a bizarre relationship, and Yosuke soon learns of Saeko's supposed powers to make flowers bloom and draw fish from the sea, with water she secretes during physical pleasure. It is also said that those who bathe in this water will rediscover their vitality, so Yosuke decides to test these theories for accuracy.
