Horoshi Takagi's memory has been wiped away in an auto accident. Now in a state of amnesia, he comes across his own medical textbooks and his fascination leads him back to the medical school he does not know that he had previously rejected. Once there, he becomes an object of desire for a fellow student but the other woman becomes his obsession: the dead one on his cadaver table. His scalpel cuts deeper than into the tattoo on her arm, and takes him beneath the skin into the dark memories of love and loss.
