New transfer student Hyun Soo (Kwon Sang Woo) has just transferred to Maljuk High. Known for its fair share of bad students, Maljuk High’s daily routines consist of group beatings, blackmailing and paying taxes to your local thugs. But the “baddest of the bad” student of Maljuk High, Woo Sik (Lee Jeong Jin), takes a liking to Hyun Soo after he saves Woo Sik’s class team from a basketball game against one of his rivals and Hyun Soo soon befriends Woo Sik. During a bus ride, Hyun Soo tries to save Eun Ju (Han Ka In) from being bullied by some seniors. Hyun Soo is beaten and the battle-hardened Woo Sik steps in to save the day.
Hyun Soo falls in love with Eun Ju, but she likes the cooler and meaner Woo Sik, who also happened to save her from being bullied. The crush on Eun Ju soon creates jealousy among Hyun Soo and Woo Sik and one of his rivals uses his weakness to defeat Woo Sik. Dethroned as the “King of Maljuk High” and beaten to a pulp, Woo Sik is kicked out of school. But life for the students under the rule of Woo Sik seems like a walk in the park compared to the new bad boy of Maljuk High. Hyun Soo makes a stand and trains himself in the art of Jeet Kune Do to take back what once was known as peace for Maljuk High School. . .
