Four years since the ground-breaking horror film "Ring," comes a new terror. Yoshimi Matsubara (Hitomi Kuroki) is about to reach a divorce agreement with her husband concerning the custody of their daughter Ikuko. In order to start a brand new life with her daughter, she moves into a spacious apartment which looked nice enough at first visitings. However, right after they moved in, weird and creepy things start happening. The ceiling starts leaking whenever it rains, and strange footsteps are heard from somewhere above, and worst of all, her daughter starts acting very strange. Soon, she finds out about the disappearance of a young girl who used to live a floor above her place, and even more unexpected things happen...
