One day, while making his daily rounds, happy-go-lucky tourist guide Tony (Govinda) is told that he will meet a light-eyed princess from across the sea that will change his life forever. Tony soon meets Sonia (Aishwaraya Rai), who has just arrived from overseas, and is looking for her mother's grave. Tony willingly offers to help, and as he takes her around on her quest, begins to fall in love with her, much to the dismay of his childhood friend Nina who is in love with him. But Sonia is blissfully unaware of Tony's affection. It is only a matter of time before the cards are laid on the table, and everyone's heart has been placed as a bet.
