Based on the 13-part HBO documentary series, "Project Greenlight" is a four-disc set that gives viewers a unique, behind-the scenes look at filmmaking as first-time director Pete Jones struggles to make his debut film, "Stolen Summer." When Jones wins a script competition staged by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck's production company, he receives a $1 million budget from Miramax Films and is given a guaranteed theatrical release for his film. The catch? Jones himself will spend the next few months on camera as he experiences the trials and tribulations of being a first-time director. The set also contains Jones' film, "Stolen Summer," and
two-hours of bonus features. "Stolen Summer" (2002, 93min.) - Set in 1976 Chicago, a young Catholic boy, Pete O'Malley, goes on a quest to help a dying Jewish boy, Danny Jacobsen, get into heaven.
