Shaw Legend Chen Kuan Tai (Iron Monkey) & Jimmy Lee (Rebellious Reign) are two fighters who go to 1930's Shanghai seeking their fortune. By the old addage of being careful what you wish for proves true, and the two friends part ways once they achieve wealth and status. Enter the Big Boss (Shaw Legend Chan Sing) who will do anything to maintain his power. Pitting these two against each other is the smart thing to do. Or is it? This classic film is similar to the classic Shaw Bros. films of the era such as Boxer From Shantung and Man of Iron (Both of which starred Chen Kuan Tai).
