Phantom From 10,000 Leagues (1956, 72 min.) Another cult classic of 50's science fiction warning of the perils of unchecked scientific progress. The titular creature stands guard over a submerged uranium deposit and messily does away with anyone who gets too close to it.
Giant Gila Monster (1959, 74 min.) Teenage mechanic Chase Winstead and his friends are only interested in having a groovy time, but there's a giant lizard cramping their style - and eating them.
Eegah! (1963, 93 min.) Eegah meets and falls in love with pretty young Roxy Miller played by Marilyn Manning. The fact that Arch Hall Jr. plays Roxy's boyfriend and Arch Hall Sr. plays her father adds to both the confusion and the fun. Utterly hilarious.
The Monster Maker (1944, 65 min.) Horror mainstay J. Carrol Naish plays mad scientist Dr. Igor Markoff. The good doctor has eyes for Patricia Lawrence, but she has the good taste not to reciprocate his felings. Markoff then injects Patricia's concert pianist father Anthony with a serum that hideously deforms his hands and face. Since only Markoff can cure Anthony, Patricia will have to love him now, won't she?
Attack of the Giant Leeches (1959, 62 min.) B-Movie mogul Roger Corman served as executive producer on this slimy little opus. That old chestnut nuclear radiation is to blame for some men in cheap monster suits - I mean giant leeches - which start feeding on the residents of a small southern town. Especially noteworthy is the performance form July 1959 Playmate Yvette Vickers as a white trash goddess who, along with her illicit lover, is forced into the leech-infested swamp by her cuckolded husband.
The Killer Shrews (1959, 70 min.) Captain Thorne Sherman and his first mate Rook Griswold arrive at a small island on a routine supply run. A hurricane is approaching the tiny island, but tragedy doesn't stop there! Captain Sherman and company quickly find out the entire island is infested with giant flesh-eating shrews that have exhausted the food supply on the island, placing the research team in mortal peril.
Creature From Haunted Sea (1961, 76 min.) A horror comedy from B-movie great Roger Corman where gangster Renzo Capeto has a brilliant idea to make some money off the Cuban revolution. He arranges to ship some Cuban VIP's along with a large chunk of the national treasury to the states. During the voyage, Capeto plans to bump off his passengers and blame it on an imaginary sea monster. Complicating the plan are the presence of an American agent on board, and the sudden appearance of a very real sea monster.
The Ape Man (1943, 64 min.) Screen legend Bela Lugosi stars as Dr. James Brewster, a mad scientist experimenting with the effects of gorilla spinal fluid on human in his basement laboratory. Using himself as a guinea pig, Brewster soon finds himself turning into a half-man/half-ape. Only an infusion of fresh human spinal fluid can cure him, so he sends his pet gorilla out to harvest victims.
The Snow Creature (1954, 72 min.) Botanist Frank Parrish and reporter Peter Wells lead an American expedition to the Himalayas. The group encounters and captures an abominable snowman, or to be politically correct, a yeti. In a maneuver reminiscent of King Kong, the beast is brought back to civilization where it promptly escapes into the sewers, emerging periodically to commit acts of mayhem.
Indestructable Man (1956, 70 min.) Lon Chaney Jr. plays a violent brute of a murderer known as Charles "The Butcher" Benton. Following a Botched robbery, Benton is sentenced to the gas chamber, and he vows revenge on the cohorts who betrayed him. A Professor Bradshaw then uses Benton's body in an experiment that has the unexpected result of bringing the subject back from the grave, with the added bonus of invulnerability.
