"Doomed Megalopolis" takes a real life incident - the actual destruction of a large section of Tokyo as a result of a massive earthquake in 1923 - and gives it a supernatural treatment. The evil wizard Kato obsesses with his conquest of Tokyo, fortunately his dark arts awaken the long dead Masakato - the city's legendary
guardian. Unable to defeat Masakato, the calculating Kato seeks to produce an offspring capable of challenging the divine strength of Tokyo's mystical protector.
