The Meet The Feebles Variety Hour is a television show beloved the world over. But behind the camera, the stars and cast lead dismal and horrid lives. When the star, Heidi the Hippo, learns that her husband and producer Bletch is cheating on her, her world is thrown into turmoil. Meanwhile Bletch's assistant, Trevor the Rat, who makes pornography in his basement, tries to get the young starlet to perform in a few of his movies. A heroin addicted frog, a rabbit with AIDS, and a fly who works for the Enquirer round out the cast of characters whose lives are one step away from suicide.
