This Tom Thumb is born into a cold world of giants. Tom's parents live out their miserable existence in a dark city of nightmares, but the tiny freak kindles a new warmth in his parents' destitute lives. The father is soon prowling the city's decaying streets in search of discarded dolls' furniture and clothes for the miniature new addition to the family. News of the miraculous manikin eventually reaches the Ministry. Tom is seized by the Ministry agents and taken to a laboratory for freaks and mutants.... The Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb is a sixty-one minute film combining 3-D model animation with an innovative use of pixilation--the technique of animating human actors frame by frame.
