The eponymous dual heroines are 20-year old NANA Osaki and nana Komatsu. Strong and independent, NANA comes form a dysfunctional background band looking to find a major record deal. Taking on the lead roles are the most popular J-pop singer Mika Nakashima as NANA Osaki and international award winning film actress Aoi Miyazaki as NANA Komatsu.
