After repeated attacks agaisnt HOLD and HOLY, Commander Zigmarl is foced to initiate an operation to catpure all the native Alters in the Lost Ground. The forces of HOLD and HOLY spread out from the city, arresting everyone in their path. Determined to protect what they have, Kimishima and Kazuma rally as many Native Alters they can find to fight back against HOLY. Their ambush backfires and Kazuma is buried in an undergroud cavern. This forces Kazuma to cooperate with HOLY member, Asuka Tachibana, in order to escape alive. And to save his captured friends, Kazuma must infiltrate HOLY headquarters and face the reality altering powers of Unkei. Menawhile the conflict between Kazuma and Ryuho escalates and Kazuma realizes that his current Alter ability is no match against Ryuho's Zetsuei. But to strenghten his Shell Bullet, Kazuma must go into the Alter Forest ot find the source of Alter powers.
