After taking down a drug lord on her wedding day, Kelly (Patricia Ha) is quickly put through the system, and thrown in prison. There, she learns the horrors of social injustices, domineering wardens, and female gangs embedded in a bitter war. She becomes friends with Carol, a tough as nails gang leader, who tries to help her to make it through prison. But with constant catfights, attacks by guards, and communal showers where no one is safe, Kelly may just spend the rest of her short life in prison.
