In Paris, Hubert is a police officer with a hate toward standard operation, and always pushes the limits of his authority, which causes untold headaches for his supervisors. One day, he is told to take an extended leave. Soon after, he gets a call from Tokyo. The only woman he had ever loved has died, and he is named in her will. He catches up with his old friend, Momo. Hubert also learns that he has a daughter, the rebellious 19 year old Yumi, who has gotten into problems of her own. Hubert keeps this fact a secret from her, and decides to help her with her problems using the only skills he knows. But will this one decision change both of their lives forever?
